Auto loan advice

I would like to know if anyone has used Delta Community Credit Union for auto loans.

My current scores are: ex 624 tu 657 esp 635. I have 7 cc never late usage 35%, 22 student loans in good standing, 1 collection acct 5k from 2008 and ,14 of 22 student loans 

shows late payment 120+  4 years ago.  Only 3 inquiries this year. Trying if I can get approved for a used car under 20k.

If the collection is from 2008 shouldn't it be off your credit report by now?

It's a student loan from a college I attended in 2006, I've been trying to get it off my credit report since 2007 because my employer paid my tuition when I attended that school

How does it appear on your credit reports? Do you see the date it is scheduled to come off? It's already been over 10 years.
