Auto loan question

I have paid ahead on my auto loan and the company that it is with states that I don't have a payment due unitl next month, but if I dont send a payment this month I will still be current but they will report no activity on my credit report because I didnt send them a payment. I dont have great credit and want to know if anyone can tell me how this will affect my score.

Your loan will be reported as current for whatever month they let you skip,  

 

My advice is to NOT skip any payments, I don't know what your current balance and interest rate is, but continuing to pay more than the minimum is going to save you money over the life of your loan by paying it off early,  

 

Skipping a payment is a bad idea unless you need to,

It will not show late,however it will not show a payment for that month. That will be misinterpreted as missing a payment, it will just end up hurting in the formula. Not always, but it has happened both ways to me. Kept it simpler or the info will get mixed up and it is never in your favor. Fico goes by what others do, if your different or unique you do not fit the program and get tagged.
