Re: Blinker Financial?

How has everything gone since the refinance was completed, are you still happy with it or has anything came up that changed your mind? Thanks I'm thinking of trying Blinker but nervous about being scammed.

Re: Blinker Financial?

I tried Blinker from reading this post and seeing it on the auto loan approvals post, and i got a preapproval to refinance my loan to 3.79% (my current loan is 7.58% and i am 3 months post bk discharge).

I have sent everything in and it is now approved and final. They are overnighting the payoff check to my old lienholder.

Easiest refinance process ever.

I also tried refinancing my wife's car and they preapproved her for 7.89% from her current 12.45% rate.

Doing that one next but i definitely recommend.

Blinker even gave me an option of taking a $5000 "cash advance" by adding it to my loan at the 3.79% rate. But i don't need that 5k so i didn't take them up on that.

If you use this promo code (JRRQXQE9) you will get $100 when you complete your refinance

If you don't mind, what all was "sent in" to secure the loan?

Employment information

Sent in by mail to them:
Original copy signed of lien transfer form (state specific)

Re: Blinker Financial?

Excellent. Thank you.

What "employment information" did they require -- POI? Many here, myself included, are self-employed and wonder if tax returns are a requirement.

Re: Blinker Financial?

Well for me they didn’t verify my employment i just simply stated where i worked, how long and what my income was.

My wife is self employed and it hasn’t asked for anything special but hers is still “processing”

Re: Blinker Financial?

Thanks.

I just tried the prequal site and they offered 12.99 up to 25k w/max payment of 500 month. Cap one approved me for more but I don't remember the APR as I'm not wanting to buy anything right now, only to be prepared should I need to. I think I can do better.

Re: Blinker Financial?

Refinance and purchase rates are different.

For purchase i was offered 12.9%
For refinancing it was 3.79% up to 72months

I recommend them for refinancing only.

Re: Blinker Financial?

I was offered 8.9% up to $35k.  BK7 was discharged March 2018.

Re: Blinker Financial?

If you are purchasing with Blinker keep in mind that you will have to make your purchase from the Blinker app.  They do not finance through dealer purchases.

Our refinance process was great with Blinker!  2 1/2 weeks post BK discharge and I got approved for 7.89% and set my term myself to keep near where the payment was at the nearly 19% the loan originally was.  I had the loan basically done in under an hour and they got the payoff sent within 48 hours.
