Cap1 Denied GW request

Response from Cap1 Auto Finance. Had 1 30 day late on my acct so I emailed a goodwill request:

 

"Thank you for your message. My name is Megan. I will be more than happy to assist you with your questions and concerns today.

I understand your concern regarding the importance of your credit.

Unfortunately, we are required by law to report full and accurate information. Due to our highly regulated industry, we are not able to give goodwill removals under any circumstance. However, if you would like to dispute the accuracy of the information we have reported, you may contact the Credit Bureau Dispute Team with your dispute via fax or mail. Please include any relevant documentation to support the dispute. Capital One Auto Finance will respond to your dispute within 30 days."

I'm not sure if you intended to ask something, maybe seeking feedback, or general advice?

 

Creditors have no reason to approve all GW requests, otherwise everybody would have perfect credit. Yes, some creditors do approve them. But the vast majority dont. The two things you can do are 1) keep sending GW requests or 2) accept their response each time.
