So I tried the Capital One Auto Navigator SP to see what I was approved for and it came back $35K at 7.8% on any new car. I have a current collection on my credit that is going to get removed within the next few months and a repo with VW Credit from 2017. I really wanted a new VW so I ended up using Capital One since I knew the odds were in my favor so after a HP it came back approved at that interest rate. I really can't complain with my credit still rebuilding across the board at 660-735 with 3%UT and thse two other negatives reporting beggers can't be choosers with 7.8% new car. I'll let it sit on my credit for a good 6 months to a year then throw in a refinance hopefully my score will go up a little once that collection removes and I'd like to get it down to 3-4% interest. Also I did ask that the dealer only run Capital One for my credit so I didn't get multiple inquires from multiple lenders etc.. Trans Union was used.
I've used C1 twice and I appreciated the ease of the process but they don't seem to offer the best rates. It might be worth trying somewhere else to make sure you're not paying more than you need to.
Cap One rates vary dramatically based on file, history, and how good the car deal is.
I got 2.49% for 72 months with 0 down on a new car.

I've used Capital One Auto Navigator twice, decent rates and terms I wanted. I got both in 2018, 4 months apart. One is paid off and the other will be sometime after it ages past 2 years.

40k then and 50k now.
I think they will go over for sales tax and warranty also.
I financed 30k.
