I applied last month to refinance my Kia with 91K on it, a 2008 Rondo.  I got a letter in the mail saying I was denied and my credit score came up as NULL. I callled them and the customer no service reps told me I don't have a credit score and my score was zero and that's why i was denied. I have a credit history of over 20 years with mortgage, auto, cc ect. Not sure what to make of this. Has this happened to anyone when applying to CarFinance.com or anywhere else? Or did this happen because my LTV was not acceptable and this is there way of denying the app?

Can you get scores from places like CK or credit dot com, or here, or any place else?

If you can get those scores, they are doing something wrong at their end.

Not sure how much you can borrow on a 2008 Kia like that, but they should be upfront enough to say we dont want to finance that, instead of a lame excuse.

I would suggest shopping elsewhere if at all possible.
