Car Loan!!!Help needed!

I would be greatly appreciated if you guys can help me out!

Few days ago I applied for the car loan with America First Credit Union. They have a good rates and I use to have a car loan with them before which is I paid off two month ago.

I was applying for $20k loan since I want to get 08 audi A4 CPO.

In result they offer me a counter offer of  $15k with a 4.74% rate. The rate is not bad but I need $20k for the car, it was my main goal.

So right now I have no idea what to do? Should I try another lender or shale I go to the dealership?

I want to trade in my old car($3000) and put some money down($1000) also. But I really need -$20k-!

go to the dealer and see what they can come up with.

USbank also has a 3.99% for used cars right now, I would apply with them too.

do all the applications within a certain period and they won't hurt you

What is on your EX, it's almost 100 points lower? Did this CU Pull EX and that's why you couldn't get 20k.

I was approved for 18k at Carmax with scores in mid to high 500's!(of course not at that 4+% you were offered!) I can't believe anyone would not give you anything you wanted wtih 760!

Yes they only checked my experian score. I do not know why they cant give 20k. I guess the best way just go to the dealership and apply? They will not give me the best rate but at least they can give 20k hopefully.
