Has anybody had any success getting a car loan right after discharge? If so through the dealership and what terms did you get, interest rate, etc.
I got pre-approved through Capital One Auto Navigator two months post discharge and got a 7.5% rate. It tells you how much you are pre-approved for and it shows you vehicles from many different dealerships and the rate varies by which vehicle and term you choose.
I was approved by Consumer Portfolio , no one wanted to approve me. My Interest rate was a hideous 13.5%
I was approved six months after discharge. It dependend on what vehicle I was looking at, that determined the APR.
I didn't buy a car but it had nothing to do with Capital One. I re-applied and I am getting better rates, about 5% better than before.
CPS won't take 1099 income.
Approved for Capital One pre-discharge, 35k, 9.5 apr
