Car Purchase

I'm closing on my house on August 31. I wanted to get a new car. When would be the good time to get the car? Should I go to the dealership the same day I close on the house? When the mortgage hit my credit report would it lower it alot? Would that affect the interest rate I would get on a car?

I think you have some time. I closed on April 15th and my mortgage is still not on my report yet. I would wait until atleast the mortgage is recorded.

I closed on May 5th, and it hit my reports in June!  (Chase)
