Chase Finance Special APR Program

Has anyone ever heard of Chase Special APR financing? I did an online app through a dealership website and it came back that I was qualified for the Chase special APR financing at 3.15%. My scores recently dropped due to me paying off another car loan that I had with Capital One (outstanding payment history). I'm not looking a gift house in the mouth but I thought my APR would be a little higher due to my recent 28 point score drop across the board...LOL!

Lots of lenders use different models for scoring. It could be that Chase has used a model different from that of where you see the score drop. Also, many lenders use their own criteria without having to solely reply on just scores alone.

With that being said, since you have a rate lower than what you were expecting...do you have a vehicle in mind?

@Loquat @ the score drop caused me to fall out of tier 1 with BMW so I was looking at the 2021 Jaguar F Pace S. I'm hoping it's not too good to be true and they come back with some nonsense. The special APR is only good if you purchase a new vehicle for 60 months. The down payment is kind of steep at 7K or 15%...yikes!

Subsidized financing is often limited to relatively short terms, 60 months at most. Mercedes often limits its low-interest loans to 48 months. Last year, Ford and others offered Zero percent (0%) for terms of 72 months, but that was unusual.

Re: Chase Finance Special APR Program

Right now its sellers market so they dont need to play as many games......call them up and see whats up if you really want the car and youll have to see if its some way just to get you in the door or if they really honor it.....interest rates as whole are really low right now and i received same interest rate with decent but not great credit

some CU are at 1.89% i believe for autos so

and yeah one dealer will say this and another that......i could have got 0% with one manufacturer and another wanted 10% so really depends on dealer, banks, and what scoring model they use.......

i figured a way to find lenders who used my highest auto scores, as they vary well over 50 pts in different models.......its all part of the dance

good luck and  absolutley love all new Jags recently!
