I applied to DCU solely over the good reviews i've read on here and I got approved for 2.49% if I sign up for direct deposit.
I'm going from Santander at 15.5 in November of 2015 to DCU next week! I'm beyond ecstatic! Gonna try and see if they can use the same pull for their low rate CC
at the time of Santander approval, my transunion was 629. and my DCU approval, 651 experian and 671 equifax. i know they're different entities but hopfully that gives someone a good idea
Thanks for the post, good data points for others considering DCU.
That is a great savings on interest and will save you quite a bit.
If you like, any other details to share with the forum? Such as DTI with refi and number of inquiries?
Congrats!
Congrats!
thanks for all the kinds words...
i make around 25k a year, with 20k in student loans, 8k in the car debt, and 500 in cc. around 13% utilization
4 inquiries in equifax and 6 in experian... two charge offs and current collections
only real difference from last november and now is my old sprint collections account got deleted when i paid for it.
On behalf of other forum members, thanks for the data points!
I just got the approval from DCU for a refinance today at 1.79%. I had gotten a credit card with them when I opened my account a couple of weeks ago. But they were two separate HPs. Since I did the reverse of what you're planning to do, it may be different. Just wanted to give you a heads up!
