Yes. I talked to DCU on an app today when they called about an extended fraud alert Equifax and the other CRAs put on my Reports without my request. Originated with EQ. In answer to your question, in the conversation today, the rep stated that any EQ score over 692 or higher gets the best rate on auto loans. (1.99/1.49). I found it interesting that their decision making is on Equifax even though I live outside EQ normal trade area. But my EQ is 748 so will probably be fine.
It is useful to know which banks pull from which CRA's. I think most get all the Scores, but use only one report for analysis. Any experienced opinions on this?
If it is true, a great thread would be "HP Policies by Lender"Current Scores:
MyFico 9/14 EQ 748, TU 702, EXP 685
EQ neg-0, TU neg 60 day late 1 time, EX 3 CA from 2008
MyFico 10/1 EQ 748, TU 699, EXP 685
Applied for two credit cards and car loan, 2 HP dropped the score
Unless DCU's changed, the minimum for their best rate (1.99/1.49) is a 675 on EQ04.
I hope you are correct. Just posting what she told me today.
