DCU Rate Inc?

Have I lost my mind, or did DCU raise their rate 1/4 pt this week?  I have been busy getting my ducks in a row and waited to apply- so very typical of my luck- womp womp, it's still low though, so Ic an't really complain that much

I don't know what they were at but I received 1.74% yesterday and was told that I was at the best tier.

Re: DCU Rate Inc?

Yep, last week it was 1.99% or 1.49% with DD.  I mean it's only 1/4 of a point, but still- darnit!

Agreed.  An increase is an increase.  I got approved for a loan back in December, but didn't find the exact car I was looking for so I guess when I do, it'll be at a higher rate.

Lol, I was preapproved at the beginning of the month when I opened my account, but I'm ordering my car so by the time I actually go to make the purchase and put the financing in place who knows where it'll be

Re: DCU Rate Inc?

Jeep Wrangler Willys W- even before any negotiating I'll be at 1% under invoice + $500 off that (Chrysler Affiliate Program and an emailed voucher), and since I'm ordering, I'll be negotiating some of the holdback as well.  Going in like a baller knowing exactly what I want and already preapproved financing.  Probably just sell my car on Craigslist, won't get jack trade-in value.

Nice!  Sounds like you're getting a great deal too.  Yeah, instead of trading in my car, I figure I'll keep two for the time being.

Re: DCU Rate Inc?

I just checked the site and it still shows 1.74% for up to 60 months.  It does  change to 2.24% for 72 months.
