DCU question for those with experience

Moving the loan for the truck we bought two weeks ago to DCU.  They offered me unbelievable rates.  Instant approval.  Only had to provide purchase agreement.  Faxed it over.

Next I had to open an account.  Did that.  Waiting on approval.  Did it after they closed.  Rep told me to call back at 8:00am to let them know I opened it so they could push it through.

My questions:

1.  When will the first payment be?  Some banks do 30 days, some 45 days, some 60 days.   Curious as to when it will be due.

2.  Should I apply for a VISA with them?

Re: DCU question for those with experience

I am new to DCU and when I refi my car, the first payment was due in 45 days, Since you already have a credit pull with DCU go ahead and apply for the Visa. I did and it was a quick phone call where I was approved in minutes at 7500 limit. I wanted to tale to the and confirm that i already had a credit pull and did not want another one.

Re: DCU question for those with experience

Thank you for answeing.  We haven't even made the first payment with the current lender.   I was approved for 25k but we only wanted 13.5k.  They offered 65 months but we wanted 36.  It seemed they really wanted to please me and do what it would take to get my business so I was thinking of asking for a visa.  My highest is $4200 and I am itching for a nice high limit.  I saw through search the people on here have gotten nice limites.

MyFICO has my EQ score as 726 but she told me they pulled me at 708,  Must have used a different model.  I hope that it is high enough for a VISA approval.
