Credit Score: Ex 610, EQ 563, TU 590 (According to the Myfico 3 bureau report I bought on this website). I have paid medical bills listed below. I have 3 public records that are all paid off(2 for around $200 each - 1st will fall off in a few months, 2nd in 1 year or so; the 3rd PR is around $6-7k[paid off]) & consists of all medical bills as well, which still has 5.5 years to go before it falls off (the medical bills themselves are dated 2008-2013 for the DoFD).
AAoA: Total of 91 months across 5 accounts, so 18 months (1.5 years) AAoA? Think I'm going to garden awhile after I get a car(if I can get a loan). I'd like to get the loan with NFCU if possible but I'll go with whoever I can get a loan with, and the best rates.
# of positive trade lines: 5 (3 open credit cards, 1 closed credit card, 1 phantom account from somewhere?). The closed account was a $400 secured card opened 3 years ago(2 years of activity). The open accounts are: an unsecured $5k card from NFCU opened 11 months ago, an unsecured $400 card from First Premier opened
11 months ago, & a secured $700 card from First Premier opened 2 years 2 months ago. I also have a $500 CLOC from NFCU that is 7 months old. I haven't asked for CLI's for my NFCU cc & CLOC as I wanted to try & get a car first. I'm not sure what the 5th positive tradeline listed on my CR is, as it doesnt actually show it, it just shows I have 5, and then breaks it down showing 4. I did recently get a CLOC but this report was from before that. I also lost a credit card several years back so I'm thinking maybie they are counting the old lost card as an extra account, because they gave me a new acct # after that. Can't remember, that was the account I ended up closing due to that company trying to screw me over by withholding my payments for obscenely long times, incurring "late charges". Why does it take a company over
2 weeks to submit my payment into their computers? I'm guessing they were trying to force late charges, but whatever, I'm done with them. In hindsight I should have kept that card open & just not really used it so it could boost my AAoA I guess, but I was mad at the time, and my feelings overcame me & so I closed the account heh.
# of negative trade lines: Not sure if medical bills are considered tradelines but if they are I have: EQ - 9, TU - 4, Ex - 3(all fully paid; also, 4 of these are the same account split across 2 bureaus, so the total is actually lower). If medical bills aren't considered tradelines, then I have 0 negative tradelines. I've never missed any payments on any of my credit cards. I've never had any other kind of loan.
Income: $40k
Length of Employment: 9.5 years
Previous Loan Experience: None
Debt-to-Income (DTI): 15.9% (this is not including the car payment as I'm not sure how much it would be). I pay $475 rent & a total of $55 to my CC's just to keep them open & reporting.
Year of Car: 2010-2014
Miles: Not sure (I haven't actually started looking at cars, so not sure on mileage, but would like a 2010-2014 vehicle if it's possible)
Purchase/Refinance: Purchase
Requested loan term (XX Months): 60 or less
Down payment amount: $3k
Co-borrower/Co-Signer: No

As stated above, every bad item on my CR is a medical bill that is paid. I doubt this makes a difference, but wanted to put that out there. Also, I'm sure my file is considered thin, as I was a cash only type person before I finally decided to try & start a credit history. Unfortunately, around the same time I had several surgeries & was steeped in thousands of $$ from bills. Finally paid all that off(feels good!). Hopefully I can get the medical bills GW at some point successfully. Also, my CC utilization is around 5%. I have around 3-4 inquiries that are mostly from NFCU(they seem to love doing these). Hopefully that's all the info that is needed.
The good news is two fold. First, yes, you should qualify for an auto loan. And secondly, you're a member of NFCU so they are really good with profiles like yours. Apply to them and I'm thinking you'll get an APR around 6%.
Now as far as the medicals go, don't GW them. You need to use the hipaa method on them and they will disappear. Follow the hipaa method EXACTLY though. To find the method, google exactly these four words: whychat hipaa program guide
