Were the scores you quoted having what you were told were your Auto enhanced or were they scores you received from some other sources.
Cause unless you make great monthly income with little to no monthly debt load, with a great Job history and living location history, I just do not see you getting financed with those scores you listed.
I mean sometimes the financing fates are working with you, but 3 approvals, you are not scoring sub 550. That is sub sub prime. There just has to be something extenuating.
And 1700 on a 100,000+ mile car WOW. Somthing I never see.

Actually rather irrelevant. since the car traded in in regards to this deal was a 2002 Pontiac Grand Prix. 8 Model years old and over a hundred k
Without more details on your A6 such as sedan, quatro, avant, V8 and what accessories it is really hard for me to see your claim as more then a number.
Most banks do not finance a vehicle that is either more then 6-8 model years old or that has a more then a hundred thousand miles....so the dealership has to price the vehicle according to what someone can stroke a check for. Your audi can probably be financed by one of the banks the dealership deals with.
And in regards to trade in: I can give people $5,000 over KBB for their car if they are paying MSRP for the new vehicle. Or a high interest rate, or if we have $7,000 in mark up on the used one they are buying.
What your car is actually WORTH on trade in, what similar vehicles in the area have been going for at auction and real sales sets the price.
Trying to trade a convertable in January in Cleveland will get you a lot less then trying to trade it in in Summer or January in New Mexico.
I'll never forget the lady that did not buy a New zero percent, hundred over invoice car from me. She was nice (kinda bovine) and came back to tell me she bought a Honda from down the street as they gave her $250 more for her trade. I asked if that was the only reason she bought she said yes. I asked her what pricing deals she got and she said none she paid MSRP, I asked her if she got zero percent from them and she said no so I was like WOW you spent $4,000 more on the car and gave yourself a $110 a month greater payment for $250.00 more for your trade in and never bothered to come back and ask if we could match it.......
