Fraud alert - Need to remove before app-ing?

I ended up with a Fraud Alert being placed on my file while going through Hipaa process. Do I need to have this removed before app-ing for a loan?  I am planning on app-ing in 1 or 2 weeks.

I had a fraud alert when car buying. It is fine to have on there. Just be prepared to answer the phone. They will call you for each application summited. Be sure if applying at dealership that the contact info on report has your cell so that you can verify you in fact are the one applying. If you don't want to deal with it start working to remove it now. It does take a while to remove.
