GM Financial

Does anyone know what the standard interest rates for GM financial are?

I'm sitting on an Auto 8 FICO that's around 720-730. Will I qualify for A+ tier?

Location is in Florida if that makes any difference.

Re: GM Financial

Those scores should easily qualify you for their best rates. Do you have a previous relationship with GM Financial? If so, they may bump you up one or two tiers and approve you for a lower rate based on their experience with you.

Re: GM Financial

OP with those scores you shouldn't have any issue with obtaining really good financing. As long as you have decent income you should be alright.

Re: GM Financial

Captives like GM Financial will always be a little bit higher because 99/100 times you get some kind of incentive to use them from the dealer...ie they have to stay in business and make money somewhere..if you aren't getting a subvented rate, or a rebate to use them, no reason to use them and dealers know this.

Re: GM Financial

There’s a $1,500 rebate to finance with GM, that's why I'm doing it.

Anyone know what FICO score they're using? I've seen people say Transunion Auto 9 but that it varies by region. I'm in Florida.

Re: GM Financial

I just got into a new lease with GM Financial on 5/14. The dealer pulled and used FICO Auto 2 from Experian, then GM pulled and used FICO Auto 5 from Equifax.

I was told >720 was tier 1

I'm in the Tampa Bay region.
