Re: Getting ready to pre-approve; Credit Utilization affect

Please understand that for the majority, the credit "score" you are given from a Dealership is the one they use for the loan, but it is an "Auto-enhanced"- meaning that the equation that generates the score is different from a conventional FICO score and weighs heavily your risk in an auto purchase.

Re: Getting ready to pre-approve; Credit Utilization affect

Got pre-approved today. Smiley Very Happy My utilization was reported back down to 2% by Orchard and the CU pulled my TU score and it was 699. Got approved for up to $25k at 4.79% although I'm only asking for about $15k-$16k depending on the final negogiated price of the vehicle which I hope to work out with the seller this week.

Thanks for everyone's help and information!
