Has anyone applied with LightStream or myautoloan.com?

Bankrate actually showed the Lightstream rates.  I have never heard of them.  Myautoloan.com was recommended on another website I was reading about financing.  Just curious what others have experienced with these lenders.

Lightstream is a division of SunTrust Bank. They are a decent size regional bank in the southeast. That is about as much as I know. I don't think they do much for those of us that are rebuilding though.

Lighstream is a division of Suntrust Bank. According to the information I found on Credit Karma, Lightstream offers amazing rates comparable to that of a credit union and they also have top notch customer service and are quick in terms of processing. The bad news is that they are very selective in who they offer car loans to.  All aspects of your credit have to be in order. When I say in order I mean a score above 750 and credit longevity to back that score up. If you go to creditkarma.com you can read reviews about people who have dealt with them.

Unless Suntrust has changed their policies, making payments on their auto loans are inconvenient.  Last auto loan I had was through Suntrust and paid it off in 2012.  They had no online payment option unless you had a bank account with them so each month you had to physically go to the bank or mail it in to make a payment.  Might not be a big issue with some or they may have changed that practice, but is inconvenient when online bill payment is the norm in the industry not the exception.

I have not. But the latest issue of the AAA magazine had mention of loans for any purpose from Lightstream for AAA members with Good to Excellent Credit ratings.
