Is there a big difference between utilization %s?

Hello all,

I am planning to buy a new car in December (or early 2021). I have been keeping an eye on my revolving credit utilization and I am curious if there is a big difference in FICO Auto Scores for % scores under 5%. For example, would my scores really be that different with a utilization % of 3.82% versus 4.45%?

Thank you!

Re: Is there a big difference between utilization %s?

No. The breakpoints are 8.99% and 0% for overall credit util.

If you go to 0, you will lose points for not being AZEO. This isn't any different for the auto scores (but may be for mortgage scores)

Re: Is there a big difference between utilization %s?

Not necessarily, 0% doesn't mean zero balance. You can have 0% utilization with no point penalty at all.
