NFCU

I was applying for an auto and on one page it said not able to be approved for final rate but had me continue I got nervous thinking it was denial does anyone know what it means not approved for final rate and I withdrew the app do I maybe have a chance

Most likely they just needed to review your app since you have low 600 score. I think they manually review most auto apps anyway to determine the rate. I just refi'd with them a few days ago and they said the same thing, and I continued with the app and was approved within a matter of hours and i got my paperwork and check in the mail today.

Thank you right now my TU is 653 so I may wait 6 months and try to get score up

I would apply if I were you, from what I read on these forums everyone seems to get approved!

I would apply if you need a vehicle, have a down payment, and can afford to pay extra each month.

 

Otherwise, good plan waiting. Save, save, save.

I agree. I just got approved this past week with a 637 TU @5.29%. The loan wasn't very high, but wife and I both have seperate savings accts, a checking acct, $10K CR card. We joined last month. I think you have a strong chance. If you want, read my particulars of my auto loan in the approval thead.
