Hello, thank you in advance for any help. I want to purchase a used car, I dont know how to negotiate at a dealership. I have had several of this make, first newer one. I am looking at to purchase a 2012 camry le, credit is repair this last 2 years but 4 yrs ago an old repo that was only repod for a weekend and I paid it off on monday doesnt matter it was paid in full and we still have the vehicle. This dealership is going to give us 10.89% interest....it started at 15% so I got it down some. I am on the fence on the idea if I should haggle over the price I am on this particular car make, but the low miles...they said payment would be 260.00 for 72 months I want it near 200 what else can I do to get closer to my number, I am suppose to go in at 4:30 and sign and drive away...2012 Camry LE 46k miles PRICE $13,899.00 I want navigation but its only got blue tooth, small want.
Thank you,
Did you already haggle the price to it's current amount or is this the sticker price? I honestly don't know that you'll be able to get them to come down 4000. Extending the payment period for a car that old also doesn't sound like the best idea to me. Remember you don't have to sign anything. You can walk away if you're not feeling good about this deal. I think you can get the car for at least 1-2K cheaper with patience and negotiation. If you can wait and they won't lower the price then walk away. There are loads of Toyota Camry LEs out there. LOADS!
