Nissan Maxima 10 SV Lease Offer...

I don't think this is a good deal, but I welcome opinions...

the latest offer: 1) assume last two FMC payments, only 800 2) Maxima 10 SV, loaded, price is around 34K, 12 k miles a year, $500 down for $500 month for 39 months. that's 19.5K on a lease when i could put down $5K on a 25K car and own it in four years for less than lease payment.

I guess the benefits of leasing....they don't want much down $$...

this offer does not appeal to me...

Daisyduke,

This does not look like a good deal to me.  If you lease to get the tax write off then maybe it is a good deal.

I prefer to purchase the car so that when I an finished making all these payments I have something to show for it.

Re: Nissan Maxima 10 SV Lease Offer...

Show,

It's a silly offer. this was through my sister's friend - she does business (sell adversting for TV) and this client of hers wants me as a customer. I posted this so that I can cut and paste responses and laugh over a drink at how her "friend" is giving me a deal. pahlease...I was almost laughing when my sister left me this voicemail...asking me to run up to the dealership this week and sign the papers...yeah, ok, after i spend 19.5K on a car, i don't own it? it's not a Bentley....lmao lmao...it's a 34K car...dont' care..i want something nice, but i want to make a good, solid financial decision and actually buy a car that will hold its value...

I had to lease my mercury milan as i was in neg equity. i wash my hands of the entire deal very soon...it's not the worst car, it's loaded and everything but NO FUN, no sex appeal, to drive....i had three maxima's prior to this vehicle...big difference.

i have at least 5K to put down on a car. I can buy a 25K car and finance 20 K of it for under 500, four years...

Daisy,

Your sister's friend knows that that is not a good deal.  I like the Maximas, but that is not a good deal on the lease.

I love my new honda accord EXL.  I just put a spoiler on, got it tinted and will be adding the wood trim soon.  It is sexxxyyyyyyyyyyy, and hot.  I just love it.  It is fully loaded XM radio, sunroof and everything. You should think about getting one.

Re: Nissan Maxima 10 SV Lease Offer...

Congrats on your new car Show!! ...my nerves are shot with this car shopping stuff. I just have to take the emotion out of it all. I should go take a look at my local Honda dealership. I've only ruled out leasing. no purpose since I have money down....

the only way i'd lease that maxima would be....drum roll.....for 200 bucks a month with no money down. that's not happening by the way..

tinting is cool, not allowed in PA to have it. I got pulled over in my maxima one day by a silly cop who told me it wasn't allowed. I said, what? no, i am not having it scraped off. if it bothers you, you can pay to have it removed. I am unaware of this particular law you speak of, now i have to get my little son to pre school. are we done? lmao...he jsut let me go...i live in a neighborhood where there is no crime. this is what happens when cops get bored. pull over blonde chicks at 8 am in the morning.. with that said, enjoy your tinted windows. i love the fact that people could not see me....!!! Smiley Happy and well, it keeps out the sun too....

Re: Nissan Maxima 10 SV Lease Offer...

Daisy,

Depending on where you live in PA, I live in the Pittsburgh area, I can get you in contact with a good friend who is a LO at a credit union that I am a member of which gives VERY favorable rates to people, including those with troubled credit.  Also, like I posted somewhere else, my father is a partner in a fairly large dealership.  If you give me the specs you want on a car, I can get you a price and you can see whether or not its a good deal.  if you are interested, shoot me a PM.  No solicitation, just trying to help where I can.
