I wanted to share how it worked out that I got no payments for 9 months with Ally. In July I bought a new 2019 Jeep wrangler, I included multiple addons like extended warranty, gap insurance, wheel protection, etc. I got home and decided I did not need any of the extra addons. The next day I went back to the dealership and canceled these addons. instead of returning the money to me they sent it to Ally bank. When Ally bank received the money they put the money towards the front of the loan. I now have my first payment due 4/2020. Yes I have a large payment because of this but I plan to refinance it in April. I'm not sure it will work with other financial institutions or not.
