Paid off auto loan reporting open 9 months later

I'm not sure if this is the right board for this post, hopefully it is.

I noticed while checking my Equifax report a couple nights ago that a loan I had with Santander that was paid off (because of a trade in) last October is still reporting as open, paid, $0 balance.  I also have my current auto loan reporting open, paid, with a $25k balance.  Ive sent an email to Santander letting them know about this and hopefully it will be fixed soon but Equifax is my lowest score.  Could it be because I have 2 open auto loans?  I'm assuming its not hurting me because it shows a $0 balance but I wanted to check here and see what you all think.

Re: Paid off auto loan reporting open 9 months later

For me Equifax is showing several accounts open that are long closed. They also have my name incorrect. I've tried twice to fix my name. The first time they ignored my request in writing. When I called to say hey you didn't fix this then the person "fixed" it by misspelling my first name. I was too angry at them to go at it again so I'm just sitting it out. Another day I guess. My point is - Equifax are idiots. And also my lowest score lol.

Not only that but they hate me lol. I submitted a request to have an account early excluded (it's due to fall off in September) and they sent me the result in the mail that said "we have verified this item belongs to you."  **bleep**??
