Pay off or Wait?

I'm with the last couple, if the mortgage person is telling you to pay it off and you are looking to make that home purchase in the next 6 months, don't play around with trying to get things reporting correctly in the weeks before trying to do this, just pay it off now and get it done, 1 less thing to worry about... especially if it's that close to approve or not approve.

What else is bringing your scores down?

Thanks guys, I'm just going to pay it. I have 2 collections from last year and a few late payments last year. It was rough for my husband and I for a few months.
