After your previous comment, I did call him up and clarified about all the expenses and on what basis we will share them. Regarding insurance, as soon as the lease addition is approved and vehicle registration transferred, he will be able to add the car under his own insurance and be responsible for it from insourance perspective. I told insurance will be a problem in response to the other comment where I was told it is better to keep the lease under me and just take payments from the friend which is what I don't want to do.
