So I just got approved over the weekend with MBFS lease a lease on a 49k car at .0019 MF (4.56% apr), they pulled TU (Fico Auto 4) and EX (Fico Auto 8). The catch is that my TU is a 656 score and my EX is a 530. Im currently disputing a couple verification issues on some tradelines on all 3B's and TU was quick to update them with the deletions. EX on the other hand is taking their sweet time verifiying and/or deleting.
It puzzles me how the 2 models, Fico Auto 8 vs FIco Auto 4, can show such a dramatic difference. Is it because what the 3B's are reporting? or is it because of how each model is formulating numbers? And why does MBFS pull 2 different models??
Im very happy with the approval and how the finance manager was able to get me approved for the lease and rate. Grateful!!
TU is higher due to a cleaner report. MBFS pulls TU in GA, but they may have pulled EX first in your area and they weren't going to approve at that score so they probably pulled TU to see if that had a higher score, which resulted in them being able to push through an approval.
Makes sense... Thanks ![]()
