Refi with BoA have a question...

Just submitted an app to refi my wifes car with BoA, but they pulled EQ which is frozen right now so it was denied:

Thank you for your recent application for credit received through Bank of America, N.A. on July 19, 2014. After careful consideration, we were unable to approve your request for the following reason(s):

• Principal reasons that apply to j_casteel were:
• Credit Application Incomplete due to frozen or unavailable credit bureau report. Applicant

Is there a backdoor number for auto loans to call and see if I can get them to pull TU or EX? This is the first time I've ever had BoA pull EQ for something. I need to let it age right now so I don't want to unfreeze it either.

Anyone have any info?

Just a heads up; I don't have EQ frozen to keep BoA from pulling them. I've had it frozen for a couple months now due to how many inquiries are on that report. I didn't think BoA would even pull EQ to be honest as the only inquiry on EQ I've ever gotten from BoA was from my mortgage back in 2007.

I don't feel like thawing it just yet so I guess I'll have to wait to refi or find a lender who will for sure TU or EX.

just call one of the other credit card backdoor numbers and they should be able to transfer you.

Welp, I called an auto loan analyst by way of the CC backdoor # and found out that BoA cannot chose which report to pull from so I would have to unfreeze EQ and try again they said.
