I wanted to test drive a car and my credit was pulled twice that day.Can I dispute this or does it stay since I did fill out an application

Re: Remove Auto Inquiry

If you filled out an app and included your credit info, then they'll pull your CR(s). Dealerships often farm out your info to other lenders while you are test driving to come back with offers of credit. Per your score, they are all scored as auto inquiries and count as one per your FICO score (if pulled within 14-45 days of one another, dpending on the FICO score used). To avoid that, I'd suggest applying at a CU or bank first and then go to the dealer and avoid filling out any credit info.
