Road Loans minimum income

Can anyone tell me what the minimum income is for road loans. I applied and received an email saying I didn't meet the minimum income.

I am on social security disability and live with my mother so I pay no rent or mortgage.

Am I just out of luck?

I believe it to be $2,000 per month gross.

I was curious. My nephew just financed his first car and he is 18, works part time at Wal-Mart and is a full time student and he still managed to get financing through GMAC with no previous credit history
