No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Most decent, reputable dealers will have a tradtional financing option. If you go through the captive you'll likely get the promo rate.
IMO you should try through the dealer.
1. STOP listening to whoever you are talking to that is saying you won't get a loan, they are going to cost you a lot of money!
2. A Bike loan is a secured loan most likely through captive lender just like a car... so that is your secured loan, you don't want to take out a personal loan.
3. Cap1 is your friend during rebuilding... keep checking "pre-qual" offers on website... they are often known to offer and issue unsecured cards VERY quickly after a secured card... When you see offers for unsecured... apply for 2 back to back if you have 2 offers, like venture one and quicksilver.
4. Apply for Discover it NOW.

I've had quite a few ppl tell me as soon as they look inside my file my score will become irrelevant, I'm also a member of a credit union, that was gonna be my first stop when I felt I was ready
What credit union?
Why have you not applied for credit with them?!

Creditaddict, I get prequal offers from cap1, my score has jumped around a lot, at its highest it would offer me venture and QS, but then I let a card report at 90% and my scores dropped like 40 points and now it offers me platinum and QS1, if I remember correctly
you are crazy not to grab a venture/qs offer back to back... Venture will not be less than $5k and I would 95% say it won't be less than $10k!
