Curious to know if anyone got approved thru Toyota financing after BK. If you did....
1) how far out post discharge were you
2) what was your score at the time of app
3) what CB did they pull
just trying to find they if they are Bk friendly, and if so at what point they are. My Rav4 is 2 yrs old, and won't look for another loan for probably 4 yrs from now, which at that point ill be 5 yrs post discharge. Just curious
I'll preface this with the caution that I do not have personal experience with TFS.
But given what I do know, I know they're pretty liberal with lending. Just rebuild the best you can in the years you have to get your score up. If auto lending standards and practice remain the same as today, I predict a 5 year old BK won't be an issue for TFS (or most other lenders like DCU, etc) and as long as your score merits, you should be able to get great rates.
And from your other thread, I wouldn't worry too much that the loan only reports to TU. The dealers can and often do pull all 3 bureaus. If one is much better than the other, they'll use that.
Toyota ways heavily on credit score and they can push a tier 1-3 through on best rate with 650+
bk not an issue.

I would say they are BK friendly, especially if you have other positive tradelines since your BK filing. I got a Car Loan from Lexus Financial (which the same as Toyota Fiancial service) 2.5 years post BK.
