Toyota financial online application and pre approval

I was pre approved for a loan after filling out an online application with Toyota financial. I received a pre approval certificate for a 60 month/$7500 loan (no mention of apr) this amount really wont be enough to get me the car I'm looking for. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with these pre approval certificates - is 7,500 really the most they are willing to finance me? Might I have different luck if I go into the stealership? Thanks a lot. Chris.

Go to the dealership. They have a realationship with the bank and can almost always do more than you can. If you got approved online im pretty sure they can bump you up at the dealer. I bought a toyota a couple years back and was not approved online at all and went to the dealer and was approved and the left with a car in about an hour.
