You are not going to be chided for going with a loan. We all make mistakes. You should be fine trading it in 6-12 months for a lease.

I appreciate the feedback !
I hope everything will be solid in that time frame. Currently I'm in a position where leases will fit me and my life style better. I wish I would have taken this route to begin with.
It is not too late. Consider it a minor bump and a lesson. The 6 months will come soo so hang in there..

Thanks again. These boards have helped me so much.
You are welcome!!
You guys have any insight into the BMW lease requirements?
I was going to give you some really good advice but I can't be friends with someone who says "subi".
Haha, to each his own man :-) I love the car, just left me still wanting the other.
I would go to the BMW dealership and ask to speak to the finance manager. Let them know what your plans are and what can they do for you to help you achieve your goal in that tmeframe. You'll take a hit because the trade-in value would be WHOLESALE VALUE. Also, you won't make much of a dent in the outstanding loan balance in that timeframe.
