Just for fun I checked to see what I would pre-qual at DriveTime, since no credit is pulled. I have excelllent credit 798-800 across all 3. They gave me a quote of 12%, 7 years for vehicles on the $24k to $36k range...I wont get a auto loan under my personal as I need it to be under my business, but I almost laughed when I received that APR
Well, drive time is the largest subprime dealer/lender in the country. So I suspect high rates are just the norm for them.
Term / Rate
12-36 / 5.49%
37-48 / 5.74%
49-60 / 5.99%
61-72 / 6.24%
73-84 / 6.74%
85-96 / 7.24%

Go to ussfcu. Pretty great rates that will be hard to beat. They give a breakdown on terms and rates on their site. Up to 60 months is 3.74 for an example.
@AzCreditGuy My mother was able to get 4% with Signature Federal Credit Union. I believe her score was 791. She ended up leasing instead.
Thanks for the info, didnt realize drivetime was sub-prime. I should have known when they state they accept 95% of loans. I got 4 calls today and I had to call them to remove me from the list.....I will not do that again
