ally loan

was wondering if anyone with an ally auto loan had noticed if there hasn't been any credit reporting since December.  searched some other boards and other people seem to be going through the same thing. covid thing or something else?

Yes.  I have a loan through Ally on a Lexus I purchased in December and it just showed up as a new account last week (5 months after opening).

I paid off my car in December.  As of a few weeks ago, they still weren't updating my balance and 6 months later, I still didn't have the title.  So I called them and had to submit 2 support tickets.  They did in fact close my loan and they sent me a notarized lien release letter.

My daughter has a car loan with Ally too and her report also shows no update since December. We contacted Ally and they confirmed her account hasn't been updated since then. The CSR said they send them out every month. Yeah, sure, why hasn't it updated. The CSR said she will put in the request to have the account updated. 30-45 days to complete. We'll see! I recommend you do the same.

I have an open charge-off with them... they are very timely updating mine every month.
