Are there any online companies that consider loans on cars bought from a private owner?

I don't know about any companies you could use, but I'd like to question why you'd like to have financing on a 7 year old vehicle with 172K miles. I myself am a Honda driver and know first hand that they have no problem going +200K miles, but with a vehicle this old you should be paying cash. Odds of a breakdown are greater with a vehicle in this age and mileage range and you need to consider whether you could afford to make a loan payment and pay for a repair. In the event you are able to find financing on this purchase, I think you'll have a hard time finding anyone to finance this for more than a year.
The reason I am concidering this car is 3600 for an insight that gets 60 MPG and when gas goes back up I should be able to make a profit on a resale.
I've applied via phone with Postal federal community CU. They pull equafax. They sounded promising. Will know tomorrow.
