You signed the contact and have the car already, I would hopefully assume you are past the point of verification

Did you lie to qualify for the amount to finance? Can you afford the amount without your exaggerated income?

In the future don't stretch the truth about your income, it is not worth the stress of potentially gettng the deal messed up.  You will probably be ok.  Normally if there are stipulations like proof of income, proof of address etc those stipulations will be listed as a condition of approval, if they did not list them before you signed in all liklihood you are fine.

Re: im afraid... please feedback

In most circumstances, when POI is required, it is done upfront, and you know about that when you drive off in the car.  My credit union has me bring in my last three paystubs, and i've been with them for 20 years.  It's their policy.  But, Ford Credit gave me a car, and I never even saw anything about my income.  So, you can probably rest easy.  But, as already posted, be very careful in the future.  If they qualified you based on DTI, base upon your stated income, then you potentially could get into a bind.  If it was an issue, you should already be aware of it.  People make mistakes.

Would you mind if I asked who is the lender?  Some require proof, as others will chime in.
