3 months post ch13 bk discharge all 3 fico 8 scores over 700

I just wanted to post this to show others either in or who have recently completed ch 13 BKs there is a light at the end of the tunnel. I filed in Feb of 19 and received my discharge in Mar of 24. Today 3 months after discharge and here are my fico 8 scores as of today. EQ 725. TU 717 EX 709

7k in available credit under 1 uti with a secured loan of 17.5k. Rebuild is going well, I was humbled last week by a NFCU credit card DENIAL. I will be working on my relationship with NFCU being there not super credit score driven. Apparently it's all about the relationship.

Welcome @busdoctor

Congrats so far. Long as NFCU wasnt in your BK. Took me a couple yrs to join and get approved. If they were part of your BK. Pay them off.Better chance then.

Congratulations on your discharge!

Regarding your NFCU denial, did you apply for their secured nRewards card or a different card?  In my case I waited to join NFCU until after my bankruptcy fell off my reports, and when I applied for their More Rewards card I was shocked at the $30,000 starting limit.
