Scores tanked didn't know why, not sure why it wasn't obvious with MyFiCO but when I pulled my free monthly Experian it now shows Time Since Negative 1 month instead of close to 3 years.
On exploration it seems a creditor still shows it as IIB but put a negative in last month. Nothing reporting since 1/2016 except a negative in October 2018.
I called creditor who was duh IDK we reported it right we can try again.
Experian won't take the dispute because it was already disputed.
Not sure how it's affecting my other scores but TU dropped dramatically last month too.
Update as I am typing this MyFICO updated and said account updated and score went up 12 points. Not nearly what it dropped so I don't know what's going on and don't get my new quarterly report for a while.
Any suggestions?
Update - Last week I called Credit First NA Firestone and they said they agree it should not report a negative after bankruptcy but do not see anything wrong with what they sent and are re-sending and suggest I wait a month and look at it again.
I pulled my full Experian yesterday from Experian.com and it still shows time since negative 1 Month because Credit First NA is reporting negative last month. Very strange that since Jan 2016 it reported nothing each month now all of a sudden negative.
I called Experian and they wanted to just submit a dispute. I held my ground asked for supervisor and they agreed it's not right and would update it on their end and I should see it updated in 24-32 hours. I'll check again tomorrow.
I think it's reporting wrong on my Transunion as well because that suffered a similar drop in score at the same time. Equifax did not.
I am due for my quarterly tripple report from MyFICO but want to wait until Experian is at least resolved to get that. Hoping that will clearly show the issue if it still exists or is on Transunion or Equifax as the alerts I received from MyFICO didn't make it clear something was reported negative or maybe I just missed it.
I was truly shocked when I saw Experian saying time since negative 1 month instead of almost 3 years.
I guess next step is to submit a complaint online need to dig and find where that is I think it's FTC?
Score was updated today, account fixed no longer reports late last month score increase of only 13 points thought it would be more.
Interesting data point though.
Thanks.
Cleared up with Experian for the moment but suspect it's on Transunion and need to look into that.
I was kind of freaked out that 2 years 11 months of hard work was now showing time since late 1 month. Even though just 13 points I felt it would be automatic denials with a recent late after discharge.
Still need help!
Transunion refuses to fix it the way Experian did.
This line by the red arrow is killing me it's causing it to show as reported as Negative and my time since negative is now down to 1 month instead of almost 3 years.
I have filed a complaint (today) with ConsumerFinance.gov but what else can I do?
Thanks!
Credit First NA continues to verify the information with Transunion
