Any point in removing charge offs and collections after Bankruptcy?

I am a little over a year past BK7 discharge and have been rebuilding very well. Is there any point in me trying to goodwill some of the COs and collections even though they are marked as IIB?

Nothing wrong with trying, I would suspect its going to be tough getting the OC to remove, CA might be a little easier,

Is it possible to get collection  accounts removed?   I was hit with a collection by an apt complex after I moved, and they basically tried to get me to pay for the entire apt to be remodelled since I lived there for 8 years.  $4k of it.  I told them to stuff it.  They got me back by putting a collection on my CR.

That sounds completely unreasonable unless you actually trashed the place. Did you take pictures when you moved out?

Just a little update, 2 OCs have goodwilled me this week and removed TLs from reports Smiley Very Happy

Edit - My original question was meant to ask if removing any of these COs or collections would help my score, even though they are all IIB.

That is HUGE!  Who were the two OC's that removed tradelines?  This was a complete deletion of IIB accounts?  Congrats.

They were home depot and Chase, both listed as IIB. I'm pretty happy with that. I also got a super denial regarding a collection today but hey that happens.

Man, I burned Chase big time.  I would love to know what you said to them to get them to delete an IIB account.  I hear that they never do it.  I would appreciate any tips you might share.
