I applied for Apple a week ago and got denied. Today Navy Federal CU gave me a 20k limit. 3 years out of BK 100% on time payments and Credit Score of 670. To heck with Apple!
I didn't burn them and my score throught Equifax is 670. 100% on time payments. Yet my CU just gave me a 20k credit card today.
Wow, congrats! That's a pretty juicy credit limit! That is a fairly fresh bk. Maybe keep trying periodically over time if you still want Apple. They will prob have better offers and rewards in future. and GS are still pretty young in the credit game. they also might notice that credit limit after a couple more tries if you keep it paid down?
I also have 100% on time payments. I had around 640 transunion and 40 on time payments before they approved.
I hope that card has some type of rewards?
No rewards because I opted for the low interest rate and 0 interest for 18 mos. I have about 400 on a high interest rate card that I'm going to transfer over and get rid of it. So it made more sense. Apple? phhhhht. I don't care anymore.
Is it possible for you to call the recon department and speak to a representative? Hoping that you are approved!!!
Each time is a soft pull?
@Jordan23ww wrote:I'm sorry for your denial. I've noticed from reading posts on here it has been difficult to get approved for the Apple Card if you have a bankruptcy on your report or issues with a student loan.
I myself had issues with missed payments with a student loan almost 3 years ago. Every time I applied for this card I was denied for recently being past due. What finally worked for me was applying using the Apple Cart Trick (ACT).
Hopefully that can work for you too, if not now then maybe eventually. I was denied 11 times in a row using the wallet app to apply before I finally got approved by using the ACT. Best wishes to you next time you apply!

@Bmac66 Yes. Apple Card is soft pull each time you app. Becomes a hard pull if you're approved AND you accept the card.
I was just approved today using the apple cart method, previous pre approval attempts have failed. I have a dismissed ch. 13 from 2015 still reporting. The cart trick seems to work...goood luck!
