Ch 13 Baddies drop off?

I'm currently in month 34 of a 48 month CH13 & finally see the light at the end of the tunnel. I've been doing some rebuilding and have a 680 mid score right now. Most of my baddies are in the plan & are about 7 years from their last activity. Will they drop off at 7 year mark? I see conflicting info about the timing from last activity/discharge/7 year bk mark...TIA!

Starting Score: EQ 500 TU 500 EX 500
Current Score: EQ 647 TU 685 EX 684 9/2/16 Recommitted to Fico Health! Smiley Happy

Each charged-off account will drop at 7 years from the date of first delinquency, and you may be able to remove them earlier by requesting early exclusion.   The filing of a bankruptcy, chapter 7 or chapter 13, does not affect the law regarding the latest date they may remain on your credit reports

Re: Ch 13 Baddies drop off?

Yes, they'll drop off, but unfortunately the Chapter 13 pretty much trumps all other badies; even after all of my individual badies fell off and the only remaining mark on my reports was the bankruptcy, my scores struggled to get much above yours.  The instant the Chapter 13 fell off my reports, all 28 of my FICO scores (this was pre-FICO 10) jumped a minimum of 115 points; many of my scores had never reached 700, and instantly all of my scores were over 800.  This is something for you to look forward to.

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!
