Subject covers it all...need I say more?

Court hearing is scheduled for early-April, where my wonderful attorney and myself will meet with the trustee via videoconference. I found her through local listings on Avvo. She has been a true delight to work with throughout the entire process from initial consultation, to final petition review - knowledgeable, handled emails or phone calls at off-hours, talked me off a ledge, and didn't let a single detail drop through the cracks. We definitely see eye-to-eye on how backwards and inaccurate credit ratings are, usually a blatant misrepresentation of who "the little guys" like us truly are.

It was a lot of work on my end as well to prepare this case, but so far has been worth every moment. I spent hours compiling creditor lists, financial information, W2s, tax returns, monthly expenses, asset lists with valuations, appraisals, the whole 9. She was able to protect all of my assets, and doesn't foresee any concern with the trustee.

As for what's next with me, who knows. I never really made sense of posts on here announcing the 3 large American Express cards in addition to 2 more at CitiBank someone got approved for the morning after discharge, each with $30K limits.

2nd best financial decision I ever made in my life, with 1st best being my Ch 7.

Im happy that your experience was great filing for your ch13. If I may offer to play devils advocate - the chapter 7 was perhaps meant to give you the clean slate to do it over again but this time correctly? What lessons did you not learn from your first BK that caused you to have to file once again? 

Any advice you would give to your former self post ch7 to avoid having to file again? 

Sometimes the best advice can come from hard lessons so I feel this would be valuable insight for others who may be on the same path.

OK...wait a second...You were complaining for months fairly recently that Amex would not give you a second chance and blew up this forum with post after post trying to find a way to get to somebody at Amex who could help you. And now you are filing 13? 

And weren't you the guy who had an account at First Republic before it was taken over? First Republic was known to cater almost exclusively with high dollar accounts.

And now you seem giddy to be filing for a 13?

@Jeffster1   I'm so confused by their posts over the past couple yrs. I also something about being in the 590s  5yrs post filing from an older post which seemed odd back at the time.
