My BK 7 was discharged in March 2024. I've never been late on payments, but wound up with 5 lates on credit cards included in the BK, because my lawyers told me to stop paying them, and the paperwork would be filed quickly, so they wouldn't be affected.
Obviously that didn't work out. 🙄
Fast forward to last year, I was able to secure a Capital One Savor($2200) & Quicksilver($300).
This month I decided to try for a CC from my bank, Kitsap Credit Union, and they came back with a $14k SL! I was rather in shock needless to say. I think my scores were in the 675- 705 ranges, and my util was 4% or so.
I'm going to garden for awhile & see how the Cap 1 cards pan out before making any choices in the future.
I'm also going to continue spending as though I have cash only, like the last 2 years.
Can't wait to get back to high 700s like I was before.

Congrats on the approval - that's a great starting limit for only 2 years out from BK ! ![]()
That's a nice move there
