I wish I knew, credit is so strange.
Cap one also just raised my limit from 5k to 10k.
My scores hover in the high 600's right now. Just prior to discharge my scores where at 700-710.
Navy Fedral apporved my for an auto loan just after discharge (October) but I did not purchase at the time.
I applied again in February for an auto loan and was declined by NF but Capitol one and Chase both approved me.
I went with Chase since the interest was slightly lower. 10%(ouch) but it only a 22k loan so I plan to pay it off in 1 year.
Okay,
So with all the mess going on right now and gas prices are going up to dam high, I decided to apply for the BJs Capitol One+ card to save ~.15¢/Gallon.
Approved!! $8k Limit WOOT!
