@Horseshoez - I'm super excited to read your post after following your BK13 experience! I'm happy for you and know that you've been waiting long time for this day and huge milestone. Enjoy it my friend and bask in your success 800 club!!!!
Congratulations @Horseshoez for reaching the 800 club. Wonderful.
Hey, did you burn any of these cards in your chapter 13? I included Chase in mine, but really want the Salphire card eventually.
That's gotta feel great having that behind and seeing such great score jumps! Congratulations!!

Yes, I burned Chase for something north of ten-grand in my Feb-2015 Chapter 13 filing; they let be back in just shy of 8-years after I filed and I now have a total of three of their cards. Here they are in order:
As far as other revolving lenders I burned:
Chapter 13:
I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

Yeah, it was a great feeling to see many of my scores skip the 700 range entirely and to have that chapter (pun intended) of my life behind me.

Ok, so there's hope. I burned them for about 6k and I've been an authorized user on a card for a few years now so that may or may not help eventually. I don't think I'll apply for Amex ever again or at least 10 years post BK. I didn't even owe them much, maybe 4K? But I know with them the amount is arbitrary and will be an instant denial. It's good to know they're soft pulls though.

There have been a number of anecdotal reports posted here suggesting if you burned AMEX for less than ten-grand, you have a pretty good chance of getting back in with them, especially after your bankruptcy falls off your reports. In my case the number was closer to thirty-grand, so yeah, I probably ain't gonna get back in any time soon.

Is the NFCU Amex card excluded from the Amex blacklist since it is through NFCU? Great job btw

@CaneVariant I was just wondering this myself since it's still given through Amex? @Horseshoez assuming it was excluded from BL?
