Its best to wait at least 60 days after DC to make sure all accounts update and say IIB and 0 balance. If it happens sooner. Cool. You maybe one of the lucky ones who get a score increase cause you have no more debts. But past lates if any still may hurt. Then look for cards that you didnt burn. Dont rush it. CCC's arent going anywhere. You can always come here for advise what to apply for so you dont watse HP's. I researched every card I have/had on here before applying. Thats how I went 9 and 0000000000. Get your EX FICO score at Discover scorecard now and after DC and see what happens. More points less interest and better deals. Good Luck!

Hi,
I am waiting for my discharge papers from Bankruptcy and starting to research ways to start to rebuild credit. Can everyone tell me what credit cards are bankruptcy friendly and which ones I could apply for right away? I know my Transunion is currently 576 and my Equifax is 645.
@Anonymous , the best way to just spend some time here on the forums, reading and researching...utilize the search bar at the top of the page, and you'll see lots and lots of posts. Id wait until your credit reports reflect properly first before anything, and also, who all did you burn in your BK? What lenders, cards, etc...
Can anyone tell me how long after DC would it be beneficial to be added to someone account as an authorized user?
